I understand service not simply as a professional obligation, but as part of a broader commitment to building institutions, communities, and movements that make more democratic and liberatory forms of education possible.
Much of this work takes place across the boundaries of the university, in relationships with community organizations, youth-led movements, educators, and fellow scholars. I remain particularly committed to building spaces for collective inquiry, intellectual exchange, and solidarity that challenge the separation of scholarship from the struggles that give it meaning.
